Organisers said this year's Jersey Boat Show attracted as many people as the 2010 event, despite the mixed weather.
It is estimated about 30,000 people went to the free event on St Helier Marina over the bank holiday weekend.
About 12,000 people went onto the pontoons to see the show boats and more than 5,000 went aboard the HMS Severn navy patrol ship.
Jersey's harbour master Howard Le Cornu said the show was "superb fun".
He also said with some help the event could expand further and become a show that reflects maritime Jersey internationally.
