More than £31,000 has been donated to charity from the profits of a non-commercial coffee shop in the St Helier central market.
The Pure Charity Coffee Shop has given its net profits to Jersey Hospice Care and Mont a L'Abbe school.
Jersey Hospice Care got £24,992 and £6,248 went to Mont a L'Abbe school.
Antonia Cook, from the shop, said: "The money raised for Jersey Hospice will go to their Clarkson House redevelopment programme."
She said that Mont a L'Abbe school would use their money to buy school equipment.
Each year Jersey Hospice will receive 80% of profits and a different children's charity will be selected annually to receive 20%.
For 2011 CLIC Sargent Jersey has been chosen to benefit.
It provides financial and emotional support to children and teenagers diagnosed with all forms of cancer.
The shop in the Central Market has two members of staff and 15 volunteers.
