St Brelade wins Jersey Battle of Flowers spectator prize

St Brelade was named best illuminated float at the moonlight parade

St Brelade has been named as the winner of the first Jersey Battle of Flowers online spectator award.

The winning entry was the parish's Sister Act themed float, called Take me to Heaven and featuring dancers dressed as nuns from the film.

People were able to vote through the Battle of Flowers Facebook page.

The second place went to Prix d'Honneur winner St Clement for its Alice in Wonderland float, and third place to Trinity for its Super Hero float.

The parish of St Brelade also won the best illuminated float award in the Battle of Flowers moonlight parade.
