The Channel Islands' lottery is to be relaunched by the company that runs it.

Changes being introduced by Scientific Games Global Draw will include new two pound lottery tickets and paper scratch cards.

The relaunch will take place in September.

Jersey's Minister for Economic Development, Senator Alan Maclean, said he hoped the relaunch would re-invigorate lottery.

He also said he hoped it would lead to more support for local charities and good causes.

The Channel Islands Lottery was formed in 1975 after the merger of the Jersey and Guernsey lotteries.
