Du Motier Victoria Village was the Reserve Grand Champion Plant at the World Orchid Conference in Singapore
A Jersey orchid grower has won multiple awards at an international competition.
The Eric Young Orchid Foundation won several gold, silver and bronze awards at the World Orchid Conference in Singapore.
Growers said they were most pleased to win the Grand Reserve Champion prize for the "Du Motier Victoria Village" red orchid.
The deep purple flower, with reticulated markings, measures 16cm across.
The hybrid is a cross between the hybrid Gloria Naugle and the species Paphiopedilum vietnamense.
All the awards will be put on display on Wednesday at the Orchid Foundations headquarters in Trinity.
