Jersey finance boss wants more diversity

Money from Jersey's finance industry should support new trades, says the head of the body that promotes financial services.

Finance is the biggest industry in Jersey, making up 40% of the economy and employs nearly 13,000 islanders.

Geoff Cook, from Jersey Finance, said there was a danger in relying too heavily on one industry.

He told BBC Radio Jersey the tax revenue from finance could help grow new businesses.
