Races in a Jersey boating regatta have been cancelled because of adverse weather conditions.
About 60 boats had entered the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club's Connex Spring Regatta.
Race officer Bill Harris, said the dinghy, catamaran and day boat classes had been cancelled because of the wet and windy weather.
He added that the rest of the races were going ahead as planned. The annual event is held in St Aubin's Bay.
"The conditions are extremely wet and the winds are up to 27-28 knots," he said.
