Jersey bus drivers strike is called off

A strike by Jersey bus drivers which could have affected thousands of passengers has been called off.
It follows meetings between union members and managers to resolve the dispute over pay.
Connex workers had been planning to walk out at midnight and on Friday. Further strikes are planned on 14 and 25 June.
A statement by the union Unite and Connex said: "We hope to conclude negotiations within a day or two."
