Investigation into Condor ferry damage

Investigations have begun after three ferry crew members were injured and 25 cars damaged during a crossing between the UK and the Channel Islands.

Condor Ferries' Condor Express encountered high winds during the sailing from Poole to Jersey, via Guernsey, on Thursday.

Winds of about 65 knots affected the ferry near Alderney.

The company said it was undertaking the review, but believed it had taken the right decision not to cancel the crossing.
