Linx Programme could help Jersey's domestic abuse children

Children in Jersey who have witnessed domestic abuse could be helped using a programme developed in the UK.
Jersey Domestic Violence Forum wants the island to follow the Linx Programme developed by the Hampton Trust.
The aim is to help children overcome the impact of violence in their home and deal with their own anger issues.
The 12-week programme covers topics such as understanding why people are violent and how to find peaceful ways to deal with challenges.
The <link> <caption>Linx Programme</caption> <url href="http://www.hamptontrust.org.uk/what_we_do/linx/linx_index.html" platform="highweb"/> </link> is already being used in Hampshire, Devon, Gloucestershire and the Isle of Wight.
Jersey Women's Refuge said there were many young people in Jersey who could benefit from it.
