Jersey flights grounded by fog
- Published
Fog and poor visibility delayed flights coming into and out of Jersey on Monday.
During the morning no flights were able to take off from the island and only two landed.
Weather forecasts for the islands show heavy fog overnight that will continue into Tuesday.
Passengers due to travel are advised to check in on time and continue to check the departure and arrivals boards for the latest information.
Most flights were able to take off and land when the fog cleared for a while after 17:00 BST.
Alan Donald, from Jersey Airport, said passengers were being kept entertained.
He said: "In a lighter mood, delayed passengers were treated to some impromptu salsa classes in the airside departures lounge."
