High waves cancel Channel Island fast ferries to Poole
- Published
Condor fast ferry sailings from Jersey and Guernsey to Poole have been cancelled for Saturday and Sunday.
A Condor Ferries spokesman said he was optimistic the majority of passengers affected by the disruption would be successfully moved to other services.
Severe weather and high waves are being blamed for the cancellations to sailings over the weekend.
However, sailings between Guernsey and Jersey and to St Malo remain largely unaffected.
Marc Le Cornu, from the Jersey Meteorological Department, said the winds would stay strong until Monday.
