Jersey Electricity restores power to all homes

Power has been restored to all island homes after snow and storm-force winds damaged overhead cables, Jersey Electricity has said.
A spokesman said engineers started working on a total of 55 incidents at 03:00 GMT on Monday.
St Clement was the only one of the 12 parishes to be unaffected by the loss of power at 206 homes.
Electricity was returned to the final property in La Ruelle Vaucluse, St Helier, at 18:30 on Wednesday.
Chris Ambler, chief executive officer, said: "Jersey hasn't seen this extreme of weather for 30 years and we haven't seen damage on this scale since the Great Storm of '87."
David Padfield, energy division director, said: "Our teams have worked long hours and done an incredible job in atrocious and often dangerous conditions.
"I'm sorry we couldn't restore every customer quicker but in some cases the elements were very much against us."
