Jersey Live festival has 'party feel' for 10th year

Jersey Live festival organisers said they wanted to bring more of a "party atmosphere" for the event's 10th anniversary
Rockers Dinosaur Jr attracted an older crowd than other acts at the festival
The festival saw an average of about 8,000 people turn up each day with Example attracting the largest crowd of the weekend
Nile Rodgers performed with his band Chic and said the Jersey Live crowd was "awesome"
DJ Fatboy Slim performed on the main stage alongside the largest laser show ever seen in the Channel Islands
There were five stages at Jersey Live and Public Service Broadcasting performed in the smaller JT Stage
The festival has a mix of live music from acts like The Cribs to speech and DJs
Singer songwriter Gabrielle Aplin said Jersey was beautiful and was impressed with the Jersey Live crowd
Example headlined Jersey Live and attracted the largest crowd of the weekend He said he had been in Jersey four times and thought the island was beautiful
Organisers said they did not sell out but sold enough to put the event on again in 2014
