Storm flooding causes Jersey road closures

Flooding in Jersey forced the emergency services to close roads along in the south coast as strong winds combined with the Saturday morning high tide.

Victoria Avenue westbound, at Havre des Pas, and the road between St Aubin and Beaumont were closed.

The roads have since reopened, but members of the Honorary Police warned a lot of debris was left behind.

Jersey's Met Department said Saturday night and Sunday morning's tides may cause further problems.
