Murder arrest as woman fatally 'stabbed' in Jersey

Pamela Nisbet, 68, died in hospital after being stabbed at a property in Jersey, officers said

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died in a suspected stabbing in Jersey.

Pamela Nisbet, who was 68, was found at a property in St Peter at about 18:55 BST on Tuesday.

She was taken to hospital "but died of her wounds", an officer said.

A 40-year-old man, who was known to the victim, was arrested by armed officers and remains in custody. No-one else was being sought and Mrs Nisbet's family had been made aware, police said.
