Unions and the government have been able to resolve a long-running dispute

Two days of strikes by teachers are taking place in Jersey on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The National Education Union (NEU) also has strikes planned for 14, 15 and 16 November.

The industrial action follows failed negotiations with the States Employment Board (SEB) over a 7.9% pay rise during a long-running dispute.

The NEU said all 33 States schools, both primary and secondary, would be affected.

The government has been contacted for comment but earlier this month said it was disappointed at the decision to strike.
