A trial to turn a street in St Helier into a one-way system has been postponed for the third time.

The three month trial on St John's Road was originally set to begin in August, and then after the October half term.

It was then due to begin on 4 December, but has now been delayed until the new year.

Officials said delays were caused by "unforeseen supply and labour issues", with resources diverted to help with continuing Storm Ciaran clean-up.

"Everyone involved in implementing this trial apologises for the inconvenience that this unexpected delay may cause," the government said.
