Jersey Bulls: Lockdown hobby inspires unique Subbuteo set

A man has built a unique table top football set inspired by Jersey Bulls FC.
Dylan Berry, from Brighton, started making his own sets as a hobby during lockdown after he decided to "revisit his childhood".
He took an interest in the Bulls' logo after it appeared on his social media, describing it as "Americanised" and "modern".
James Queree, Jersey Bulls captain, said the set was "very cool".
People taking part in Subbuteo simulate football matches by flicking miniature players with their fingers.
'Building a stadium'
Mr Berry said he was "always on the lookout for different teams to paint".
"I started by doing things like England teams and Premier League teams and my own team, West Ham United, and then I started doing the more local teams."
He said he started the project by building a stadium in his loft, before "it got bigger and bigger and took over".
Mr Berry said: "I was scrolling through [social media] one day and Jersey Bulls popped up. I really liked the badge.
"I was in Jersey two or three years ago on holiday, so was aware that was the local team, so I thought that was the next one [to design]."
He said although Subbuteo sets based on top flight football teams are common, local teams are not.
"There was no market for anything local, so that's why I started painting local teams.
"The first local team I painted was my home town Burgess Hill. I posted it to X/Twitter, they liked it and their local rivals Hayward's Heath Town liked it. From there, it snowballed."
