Cancer patients from Jersey given mobile phones to call family

Cancer patients from Jersey who get treatment in the UK have been given mobile phones to keep in touch with their family.
Charity Jersey Cancer Relief's Loan Phone service received 20 new phones from telecoms company JT.
The charity also received a refurbished laptop from the firm to help its staff and volunteers.
Pip Carpenter, from JT, said the phones would "bring comfort and a bit of home".
"The phones provide a way for islanders to stay connected with loved ones while in the UK having treatment," Pam Aubert, chief executive of Jersey Cancer Relief, said.
