A scrutiny panel has expressed concerns over alleged student finance errors on the Government of Jersey's website.
The Children, Education and Home Affairs Panel told minister Richard Vibert it was "concerned" over incorrect financial details.
Panel chair Catherine Curtis said incorrect details "could impact the decision making process for young people".
Ms Curtis asked for a response by 22 February.
Impacts on applications
In a letter to Minister for Children and Education Constable Vibert, Ms Curtis said some "out of date" information had been published on the student finance and higher education section of the website.
She said out of date details concerning maintenance grants had been provided.
Ms Curtis said: "Incorrect or outdated information could impact the decision-making process for young people who are calculating their finances ahead of any potential application."
The panel has asked for progress on government plans to amend the Education (Grants and Allowances) (Jersey) Order 2018 (the Order).
Ms Curtis has asked for updates to the order that are under consideration and urged the minister to advise how information on the government website and forms for student finance was reviewed.
The panel has requested it receives a response by Thursday.
Minister Vibert has been approached for a comment.
