Jersey Swimarathon regulars have no plans of stopping

A woman who has been involved in every Jersey Swimarathon said she hopes to do every event until she dies.
Angie De Carteret, 78, and her sister Pat Hingston, 82, have featured in all the previous 51 swimarathons, organised by the Lions Club of Jersey.
The 52nd event starts at 09:00 GMT on Wednesday at Les Quennevais Pool in St Brelade and ends on Sunday.
Since it started in 1972, the event has raised more than £3.8m and Ms De Carteret said she loved doing it.
She said her and Ms Hingston's involvement began at the first event as they were both lifeguards at the time.
Ms De Carteret said they both fell in love with the event and looked forward to it every year, and had swum with lots of different teams over the years.
When asked by BBC Radio Jersey how long she wanted to keep doing it, Ms De Carteret said: "I want to go on until I'm no longer here."
Last year's swimarathon raised £84,000 for charities as swimmers completed more than 23,000 laps of the pool.
This year's event will be raising money for nine charities: Brighter Futures, Beach Ability, Jersey Mencap, Jersey Sea Cadets, Acorn Enterprises, Autism Jersey, Wet Wheels Jersey, Healing Waves and Les Amis.
The Lions of Jersey said this year's chosen theme was supporting outdoor wellbeing and therapy projects.
