Islanders can apply for vouchers towards the purchase of an electric bike.

The States of Jersey said it was one of two application windows in 2024 and will be run on a first come first served basis.

There are vouchers worth £300 for a standard e-bike, £600 for an e-cargo bike and £600 for an adapted e-cycle.

A total of 725 vouchers are available and the States' website is accepting applications from midday.

The money is part of the Climate Emergency Fund, which hopes to speed up the adoption of electric vehicles and reduce Jersey's transport-related emissions.

A total of £300,000 has been allocated to the scheme for its two-year duration and about £130,000 of the initial £300,000 has already supported Islanders with purchases.

A further application window will open on 8 July.
