Foster families in Jersey have taken part in an Easter support event.
Fifteen foster carers and 10 children took part in the event which included meeting the Easter bunny as well as an Easter egg hunt and brunch.
The Easter social was organised by the island's Fostering and Adoption Service.
Constable Richard Vibert, Minister for Children and Families, said the event was a "safe space" where carers could share experiences.
'Support and guidance'
Speaking at the celebration on 23 March, he thanked foster carers for their "ongoing love and commitment" to children and young people.
He said: "Social gatherings like this are such an important part of the foster carer support offer.
"It's about being part of a community of like-minded people who want nothing more than to see children enjoy, achieve and thrive.
"These types of events provide a safe space where carers can confide in each other and share experiences and techniques that have helped them.
"They are an important part of the support and guidance provided for foster carers and an opportunity to say thank you for their hard work and dedication."
