A Jersey cancer patient has been described as "truly amazing" after she gave a speech at the Royal Albert Hall.
Antonia Rubio was invited to an event in March by the Teenage Cancer Trust, where she told her story.
The 25-year-old was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2023 and shared her experience on social media.
Her videos have had millions of views and helped young people to learn about cancer and get diagnosed.
Ms Rubio said giving the speech on 20 March was a "bittersweet moment" for her.
'Praise and encouragement'
"I am really proud of myself but it also reminds me that the reason I gave a speech at the Royal Albert Hall is because I had cancer," she said.
"But in some way I do believe that everything has happened for a reason to lead me to this.
"It was really lovely to receive so much praise and encouragement for what I've been doing over the past year, raising awareness for cancer for people my age."
Ms Rubio is now in remission a year on from her diagnosis after successful treatment.
Hannah Lloyd, head of high-value fundraising at the Teenage Cancer Trust, said: "It's wonderful to see young people like Antonia sharing their stories at events.
"Fundraising is crucial for ensuring young people with cancer receive the care they need.
"Her passion for giving back by sharing her story is truly amazing."
