Jersey man pleads not guilty to killing father and son in crash

A Jersey man has pleaded not guilty to causing the death of a father and son by dangerous driving.
Dean Lowe, 48, and Charlie Lowe, 11, died in hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Grouville in August 2023.
Dylan Pounds, 28, pleaded guilty to failing to stop and report an accident on La Rue de Fauvic. He also admitted three separate drugs related offences.
He pleaded not guilty to two counts of causing death by dangerous driving and another charge of dangerous driving.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Royal Court on 14 May, with a trial scheduled to begin in the autumn.
