Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva beats Jair Bolsonaro - in pictures

Former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has defeated far-right incumbent Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil's presidential election. After a tight race between the two candidates, Lula narrowly won the election after securing 50.9% of the vote and he will be sworn in on 1 January 2023.
