UK Foreign Secretary on Russian bombing in Syria

Russian action on the ground in Syria must aim to support peace talks and not "torpedo" them, Foreign Secretary Phillip Hammond has said.

"Russian air strikes have increased in intensity dramatically over the last few days, that's hardly an auspicious way in which one of the sponsors of the political process supports that process as it gets going in Geneva", he told BBC Radio 4's World at One programme.
