Iraqi forces seize territory outside Kirkuk from Kurds

Iraq's military says it has taken over key installations outside the disputed city of Kirkuk from Kurdish forces during a major operation.

Artillery and gunfire was reported in some areas as troops captured the K1 military base, a military airport, and oil and gas facilities.
