Narges Mohammadi: Receiving Nobel Peace Prize 'invigorates' her, says husband

The husband of jailed Iranian activist Narges Mohammadi has told the BBC that receiving the Nobel Peace Prize has "invigorated" his wife in her fight for freedom and democracy in Iran.

Taghi Rahmani told BBC Hardtalk: "From her point of view and ours, accepting the Nobel Prize will create more responsibilities for Narges."

He added that his wife "once wrote in a letter to Ali and Kiana that she hoped they would forgive her. Because she wanted all children to have a better a life, she could not be a mother to them".
