US train derails after collision near New York
A passenger train has derailed near New York, after hitting a work train, US officials say.
The incident occurred at New Hyde Park in Nassau County.
Dozens of people were hurt, but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
"It's still under investigation, but the cause of the derailment was two trains striking each other, a work train and a regular passenger train," said Nassau county executive, Edward Mangano.
