The woman demanding a recount in the US Election

Votes in key US states like Wisconsin should be recounted because the voting system is unreliable, says Dr Jill Stein, who ran as the Green Party's candidate in the 2016 presidential election.

She tells BBC Radio 4's PM programme she decided to raise funds for a recount in Wisconsin because "the US has an extremely insecure voting system" so it is "a natural thing" to count every vote.

Even though this could benefit losing Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, Dr Stein says that so far Mrs Clinton's campaign has not supported a recount.
