The failed business shut its doors in 2014 and was deemed an "imminent hazard" by city officials.
Onlookers cheered as the demolition took place Wednesday morning, some paying up to $575 (£415) to watch from an oceanfront pavilion.
Trump cut ties with the casino in 2009, after a series of bankruptcy filings.
