US Supreme Court: Biden officially nominates Ketanji Brown Jackson

Calling her a "distinguished jurist", US President Joe Biden formally nominated Ketanji Brown Jackson on Friday to the US Supreme Court.

If confirmed, the current federal appeals court judge would be the first black woman to serve on the highest court in the US.
