US tornado: Governor Reeves 'proud to be a Mississippian'

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves praised the spirit of the community where a tornado wreaked destruction on Friday night, claiming the lives of at least 26 people.

The storm devastated several rural towns, with Rolling Fork in the western Sharkey County almost completely wiped out.

A state of emergency has been declared.
