Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have confirmed their engagement.
The rapper proposed in front of their friends and family at the AT&T Park, home of the San Francisco Giants baseball team, on Monday night.
The reality TV star posted a photograph on Instagram of her diamond ring in front of a screen at the stadium that said "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!"
Kardashian's publicist in America, Ina Treciokas, confirmed that the couple were engaged.
West proposed on his fiancee's 33rd birthday. Earlier in the evening he had attended the Hollywood Film Awards in Beverly Hills.
She gave birth to their first child, a daughter named North West, in June.
The Kardashian family has a number of reality shows on the E! television channel and, after first saying it didn't have cameras at the stadium, the network has now confirmed that it did capture the moment on film.
Kim Kardashian's sister Khloe said on Twitter: "Tears of JOY!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!" as well as "Wow!!!!! Am I dreaming??!?!"
Their mother Kris Jenner, who recently separated from her husband Bruce, also posted a photo of West's message along with the phrase "#happilyeverafter".
Kim Kardashian's first marriage was to music producer Damon Thomas in 2000.
She also tied the knot with NBA player Kris Humphries in 2011 but divorced after 72 days.
