A house listed as "the spiritual home" of Gavin & Stacey has gone on the market.

47 Trinity Street in Barry, south Wales, which was used as the set for the home of Stacey's mother Gwen in the show, has a guide price of £125,000.

The house is part of a Gavin & Stacey tour which visits several set locations of the BBC sitcom.

According to the listing, more than 13,000 people have visited the house, including weekly coach trips.

The listing added: "It is however up to a purchaser whether this arrangement continues or indeed any future filming is permitted, should the creators decide on a further series or one-off special."

The show ran for three series between 2007 and 2010 with a Christmas special between the second and third series.

James Corden, who played Gavin's best friend Smithy in the show, recently said that a reunion won't be coming any time soon.

Speaking on Greg James on Radio 1, the actor said: "I don't think we'll do a film, I think that would be a stretch.

"We might do a special one day, we talk about it often but it's just time really."
