Artists thank Taylor Swift for stand on Apple

All hail President Swift!
Everyone is loving Taylor after she took on the bosses at Apple and actually won.
Musicians, bands and even businessman have come out in support of the singer after she said she was refusing to allow the company to stream her album 1989.
Speaking to Newsbeat about Taylor Swift, singer Lucy Rose said, "I couldn't agree more with what's she's doing.

"It was also really exciting that after tweeting my support to Taylor Swift, the re-tweets and favourites from all my fans, it really surprised me as well.
"I think everyone was onboard straight away with what she was saying and that what Apple was doing was really wrong."
Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Calvin Harris, was particularly pleased with his other half.
In an open letter to Apple, Taylor said she was withholding the record because she was unhappy with the three-month free trial offered to subscribers.
Now Apple says it will pay artists for music streamed during trial periods.
"The first singles that you are putting out as a new artist are just going be able to make it possible to continue doing what you're doing really, unless you blow-up and become of the biggest stars in the world," said Lucy Rose.
"We're all just trying to survive in the music industry and if that's taken away from us then I really worry about what would happen to new bands coming out."
But she says streaming still doesn't make even established artists much money.
"I roughly know how many streams I'm getting on albums - so far I haven't seen any money from it.
"It is disappointing. I've spoken to bands who are much bigger than I am. They know their albums have been streamed on Spotify 20 million times and they've had a royalty cheque for £200.
"It makes it worse for those sorts of bands because they're struggling too. Everyone is putting out music, people are streaming their music and no-one's really receiving it at the bottom.
"It does feel like a really weird time because all these companies that are making a lot of money, the only way its possible is from the people who are creating the music and people writing songs on their bedrooms."
In a statement, Spotify says: "The amount Spotify pays out per stream varies, however, for 20 million streams Spotify will have paid out significantly over $100,000 (£63,000) to rights holders.
"How much of that money is distributed to the artist depends on their individual deals with their labels and publishers."
Other artists also thanked the Bad Blood singer.
