Amy Winehouse movie 'will not be re-edited' because of Mitch criticism

The producer of the new Amy Winehouse documentary says he won't re-edit the movie.
It follows criticism from Amy's father, Mitch Winehouse, that he and his family are portrayed negatively.
The film, simply called Amy, mixes home video footage of the late singer with interviews about her.
Speaking at the movie's premiere, producer James Gay-Rees said his team "didn't go in with any agenda" when making the film.
"Mitch can make his own version but we're not going to re-edit this movie."

Earlier, Mitch Winehouse told Newsbeat he "wouldn't stand" for the way the movie had been cut.
"I'm never going to give in," he said. "There's too much at stake. There's Amy's reputation. There's my reputation.
"If this hurts the (Amy Winehouse) Foundation, which it potentially could do, you're talking about damaging thousands of kids."
The Amy Winehouse Foundation is a charity which aims to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol misuse on young people.
Mitch Winehouse insists he could still take legal action against the makers of the film.
"I want them to change the film."

Director Asif Kapadia said: "We spoke to over 100 people, we saw a lot of material and a lot of footage.
"We've done our homework.
"We've done our research and the film is an honest representation of what we felt was going on around Amy.
"A lot of the film is told through her own lyrics. If you listen to them you realise she's a very honest and straightforward person. Then you realise that she is saying everything that the film is saying."
Stars including Lianne La Havas, James Morrison and Jess Glynne attended the film's premiere in London.
