The rumour mill is back in full swing about Adele's HOTLY awaited third album.

It's been reported a release date's set for 20 November, with a single expected out in the first few weeks of the month.

There have been months - even years - of speculation about the new album. So here's what else we "know" so far.*

*A lot of this is based on rumour

The name

It's been five years since Adele's second album 21 came out, spending 23 weeks at the top of the Official Album Chart.

It followed the age theme of her first album 19. So guess what this one's expected to be called...

Yep, 25.

Collaborations

Blur frontman Damon Albarn's already admitted working on new material with Adele, but says he doesn't think she'll use it.

He also called new music "very middle of the road". Ouch.

It's understood there'll be tracks with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, producer Danger Mouse, Canadian singer-songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr and writer-producer Max Martin who's worked with acts like 'N Sync, Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys.

There's even been speculation about Pharrell, Beyonce, Sia and Kelly Clarkson teaming up with the star.

Last year, Newsbeat saw papers at a recording studio showing the singer had been in writing sessions there with Diane Warren, who also wrote for Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera and Rihanna.

The tour

Last month it was claimed the singer had turned down an £80m offer to tour with the new album.

It was claimed the 27-year-old wanted to carry on with her "quiet family life" with partner Simon Konecki and their two-year-old son Angelo.

In the past she's admitted hating touring and getting really nervous. She's also said to be worried about preserving her voice, after vocal cord surgery in 2011.

Some of Las Vegas' biggest casinos are said to be keen to sign her up for a residency though.

A TV show

On Wednesday it was reported Adele was in talks for her own one-off TV show.

It's claimed the one-hour special would go out on the BBC to mark the new album's release.

"Adele is simply too big just to be part of a green room of guests on a chat show," a source told The Sun.

A little bit country

She's not heartbroken any more, she's a happy mum... so don't expect too many tear-jerkers on the new album.

Adele's said herself she doesn't want this one to be sad, joking that she's "done with being the bitter witch".

She's even suggested one of the tracks is a real "upbeat, girl power type of song".

But could she be heading more down the country route? That's what friend Kelly Clarkson says she's heard at least.

Adele's also hinted this album could be more stripped back than the other two, saying she wanted it to be "quite acoustic and piano led".

Glasto 2016

So after the inevitable success of her new album, could Adele headline Glastonbury next year?

At least one bookie's had her down as the favourite.

But in 2012, festival organiser Michael Eavis said the singer knew they wanted her, but she didn't want to do a gig their size.

"Going on the Pyramid Stage I think is a bit daunting in front of 80,000 people. It's a bit much, really," he said.

The end

It's though Adele's next album is the last on her Sony/XL deal.

But as a happy family kind of gal, who's never been a big fan of the limelight, some have speculated it could be her last... EVER!!!
