Why you can't stream Adele's new album 25

Adele's 25 is expected to be the best-selling album of the year, but currently you won't be able to listen to it on music streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music.
The singer is thought to have followed in the steps of Taylor Swift and made the decision not to put her music on the services.
Spotify says it hopes Adele will change her mind "very soon".
However, you can buy her album in shops and on sites like iTunes and Amazon.
The 27-year-old's previous albums 19 and 21 as well as her current single Hello are still available for streaming.

Adele is said to be one of the few superstars who has enough influence to decide how she wants people to listen to her music.
Martin Talbot is from the Official Charts Company and told Newsbeat: "Her fans range from children to aunts and uncles. Not only does she have fans who will go out and buy the record for themselves, there's a huge potential for gift purchase as well."

A statement from Spotify said: "We love and respect Adele, as do her 24 million fans on Spotify. We hope that she will give those fans the opportunity to enjoy 25 on Spotify alongside 19 and 21 very soon."
25 is not available to stream on Apple Music, but Apple said it was "thrilled" to offer it for download on iTunes.
Another artist who made the same decision as Adele was Taylor Swift, who pulled her music from Spotify in 2014 following a row over the royalties paid by streaming outlets.
Following the decision she said: "I'm not willing to contribute my life's work to an experiment that I don't feel fairly compensates artists."
The news that 25 will not be available on streaming services has upset many Twitter users, but also angered others.
