Emily Ratajkowski has spoken out about a series of naked pictures that she says have been released without her permission.

The model, who danced in Robin Thicke's controversial Blurred Lines video, tweeted: "I've been resisting speaking publicly.... But I've had enough."

A website for the book says it contains 71 images of Emily from 2012 before she was famous.

The 25-year-old was snapped "posing in lingerie (and less)".

"This book and the images within them are a violation," she said.

In her rant on Twitter, Emily says that this book is exactly the opposite of what she stands for., external

The photographer, Jonathan Leder, took the pictures for his new book - Emily Ratajkowski Collectors Edition.

He writes in the foreword: "She was very comfortable with her body and over the course of the two evenings we shot about a hundred Polaroids."

Emily, who is also known for her appearances in Gone Girl and Entourage tweeted that "five out of the now 100s of released photos were used for what they were intended: an artful magazine shoot back in 2012".

She said on Thursday afternoon that she signed no release and was not paid for her work.

"That said, the legal side of this is private and I would appreciate it if people waited...", external
