Migos hit back at homophobia claims after ILoveMakonnen comments

Bad and Boujee rappers Migos have responded to claims of homophobia after comments made in a recent interview.
The US trio, who are currently playlisted on Radio 1, caused controversy with comments about rapper ILoveMakonnen.
He recently came out as gay and the trio were questioned about his sexuality by Rolling Stone magazine.
Other rappers have spoken of their support for his decision to be open with fans.
But Migos's response seemed less than positive.
"They supported him?" said band member Quavo when asked about ILoveMakonnen., external
"That's because the world is *****d up," said bandmate Offset.
"We ain't saying it's nothing wrong with the gays," said Quavo. "That's wack, bro."
Fans on Twitter spoke about deleting their music from their playlists after their comments were shared on social media.
The band later posted a message on Twitter saying they believe in "being original and staying true."
"We are all a fan of Makonnen's music and we wish he didn't feel like he ever had to hide himself."
Quavo, Takeoff and Offset say they have no problem with anyone's sexual preferences and have said sorry to anyone offended by their comments.
"We love all people, gay or straight and we apologize if we offended anyone."
Migos are currently enjoying the biggest hit of their career with their track, Bad and Boujee.
It has been a No. 1 single in the US and the video has been watched 190 million times.
