Shannon Purser, who plays Barb in Stranger Things, has tweeted asking Christians to help her with her faith.
Earlier this week the actor told fans she was bisexual, after being criticised online for "queer-baiting" in her new show, Riverdale.
Shannon was criticised after her character kissed another woman, without any further exploration of their feelings for each other.
She's now asked "other LGBT Christians" to talk to her about their "struggle".

The 19-year-old also directed users to a charity she had used to educate herself on religion and said she believes "that nothing can keep us from the love of God".
Shannon's had a week of online revelations, starting with the sharing of a note confirming her sexuality for the first time.

"I figure now is as good a time as any to get personal," she wrote.
"I've only just recently come out as bisexual to my family and friends.
"It's something I am still processing and trying to understand and I don't like talking about it too much."
The actress said she wrote the note after becoming involved in a discussion about "queer-baiting".
The term was used by fan groups to criticise two characters who kissed in Riverdale but weren't portrayed as gay by the producers and writers of the show.
Shannon said she had never heard of the term until she became involved with the debate online and apologised for dismissing fans who held this view.
"I never ever wanted to alienate anyone," she wrote.
"Thank you to all the people who kindly reached out to me and educated me about the reality of your feelings.
"I apologise to those who were hurt."
