Gran grows giant sunflower over 6 metres high

You might have heard the story of Jack and the beanstalk; but have you heard of Eve and the giant sunflower?

Eve planted the sunflower seed with her granddaughter in her garden in Kent and it just kept on growing.

The bright flowers normally reach about three metres, but so far Eve's has grown higher than a massive six metres.

The current world record was set in Germany where a flower reached a huge eight metres tall, so Eve's got a bit more yet to grow!
