If you thought these were the real One Direction boys, look a little closer! The group have been recreated as waxworks by Madame Tussauds in London.

It takes a team of 20 sculptors about 4 months to make each waxwork. The process started with a sitting, where lots of photographs and measurements were taken.

Next, the boys' heads were sculpted out of clay so that a detailed mould could be made for the final wax head.

Once the wax head is made the sculptors add eyes, teeth and each individual hair! Painting the skin takes a whole week.

The finished waxworks look so life-like, this confused fan has tried to give Harry a cheeky kiss!

The waxworks' clothes were donated by the One Direction boys. Niall said: "This is weird - he's wearing my actual shoes!"
