Can energy from the sun, wind and chip fat keep a radio studio on air?
Well today, that idea has been put to the test right here at BBC Media City.
It's to highlight the fact that time is running out for some of our traditional power stations fuelled by coal, oil and gas.
And now new ways to keep the country powered up are needed.
We sent Newsround's Ricky along to help out and find out more.
