David Beckham looks set to buy a Major League Soccer team in America, after choosing Miami as a potential base.

A deal is still to be agreed but it's understood Beckham is edging closer to the $25million (£15.5million) purchase.

The Major League Soccer currently has 19 teams, but hopes to expand to 24 by 2020.

The former England captain finished his playing career with Paris Saint Germain and retired from professional football in May this year.
