Christmas comes early for meerkats

Christmas has come early for these cheeky meerkats at ZSL London Zoo.
Paul, George and Ringo have been given their own stockings to explore by zookeepers.
It didn't take the inquisitive creatures long to peep inside and find their favourite snack - crickets!
The meerkats have even been given their own faux fireplace to hang their stockings above. Somebody should tell them you're not supposed to open presents until Christmas Day!
