Pop group Years & Years have come top of the BBC Music Sound Of 2015 list.

The prize highlights which artist critics think is the best new musician for the year ahead.

Singer Olly Alexander said coming top of the list "means we've got a real shot" at making an impact.

Previous winners include Sam Smith, Adele, Ellie Goulding and Jessie J.

Who are Years & Years?

The band is made up of Emre Turkmen from Turkey, Mikey Goldsworthy from Australia and lead singer Olly Alexander from England.

Olly even gave up a promising acting career to focus on the group.

Emre and Mikey met after Mikey advertised to find bandmates online.

Olly was recruited after Mikey heard him sing in the shower!
